Tarka Dal Recipeingredients

prep:
1 x cup of red lentels +1 & 1/2 cup of water. Simmer until cooked

method:
- Heat oil (30 seconds)
- Add cooked lentels
- Add cup of water
- Add coriander (bring to the boil)
- Add par boiled potato and cook into it
- Cook seasoning
- Add oil into separate pan
- Add cumin seeds
- Add chopped onion (cook1-2 min)
- Add knob of butter of ghee (cook 30 seconds)
- Add garlic cloves
- In the Red Lentel pan, Add a chopped tomato
- Add salt (continue cooking 3-4 mins)
- Add contents of seasoning pan into the red lentels (cook for 3-4 mins)
- Sprinkle with coriander - Enjoy
