Chicken Channa Recipe
Serves 1/ Preparation Time 5 mins / Cooking Time 10 mins
ingredients1 x tbsp of cooking oil
1 x tsp of garlic & ginger paste 1/2 tsp methi leaves 1/2 x tbsp tomato paste 1 x tbsp mixed powder 1/2 x tsp chilli powder 2 x chopped green chillies 1 x tbsp chopped onion & green pepper 4 x tbsp base gravy 1 x breast of cooked chicken diced into approx 6- 8 cubes 1 x tbsp chicken stock 1 x tbsp pre cooked onions & green peppers 1/2 x tin of chick peas 1/2 x tomato cut in half 1 x tbsp of coriandar leaves |

How to make the Curry (1 portion)
- Heat chef spoon of oil
- 1 x teaspoon of garlic and ginger paste (cook off for 30 seconds)
- Add ½ teaspoon of methi leaves followed by ½ chefs spoon of tomato paste (cook for 1 min)
- Add 1 x tablespoon of mixed powder (cook for 30seconds)
- Add ½ teaspoon of chilli powder & 2 chopped green chillis, plus 1 x chefs spoon of chopped onion and green pepper (cook for another 1min)
- Add 1 x table spoon of base gravy plus pre cooked chicken 6 or seven cubes & 1 x chefs spoon of chicken stock ( cook for 1 min)
- Add 1 x chef spoon of pre cooked onions and peppers (cook for 1min)
- Add 1/2 x tin of chick peas 'rinsed & drained' (cook for 1 min)
- Add 2 x chefs spoon of gravy (cook off for approx 2-3 mins)
- Add ½ tomato (cook for 1 min)
- Finally sprinkle coriander to finish - Enjoy!!!
