Bhindi Masala Recipe
Serves 2 - 3 / Preparation Time 5 mins / Cooking Time 12 mins ingredients1 x Medium Onion, finely chopped
1 & 1/2 x tsp of cumin powder 1 x tsp tumeric 1/2 x tsp chilli powder 2 x tsp garamasala 1 x large chilli (chopped) 1 x tbsp of coriandar leaves (chopped) 1 & 1/2 x tsp salt 350 grams of Okra 1 & 1/2 x tsp of lemon juice 3 x tbsp of oil |

How to make the Curry (1 portion)
- Prepare Okra: wash them, then top & tail them. then cut into 1 x centimeter long pieces.
- Heat chef spoon of oil
- Add onions and cook until just starting to brown (cook off for 2 mins)
- Add tbsp of water to the dry spices (excluding the garamasala spice) in a bowl and mix into a paste ready to add
- Add spice paste mix (cook for 30 seconds)
- Add Okra & Keep stirring (cook for another 3-4 mins)
- Add 1 x tsp of garamasala ( cook for 1 mins)
- Add 1 x Large Chilli (cook for 4 mins)
- Add 1 x tsp of garamasala
- Add 1/2 tbsp of coriandar
- Add lemon juice
- Add salt (cook for another 2 mins)
- Finally sprinkle coriander to finish - Enjoy!!!
