At My Takeaway- 'Curry 2 Go' in Chorley

 About Me

I grew up in  Manchester on the doorstep of the Famous ‘Curry Mile’.  Every day on the
way home from school as a young lad my nostrils were greeted with the punjant aromas
from the many Indian Restaurants & Takeaways along Wilmslow road-‘The Curry Mile’
I think that’s when my love affair with Curry began.

After leaving school I Worked  in many different Catering establishments including Takeaways.
I was on a mission to discover those closely guarded secrets,  which I did!  At first we hosted
'Curry Parties' for family and friends. We also did a number of stints at a Local Pub -
advertising as  ‘Curry Nights’ which were loved by the locals and quickly became popular.

Friends always said, "You should open your own Indian Takeaway.."  So, after a lot of thought
about it and a lot  of practicing every Curry on a standard Indian Takeaway Menu,  that's exactly
what I did.  We now have our own Indian Food Takeaway called 'Curry 2 Go' in Chorley Lancashire.
Our venture quickly became a talking point locally because this was a"..English guy doing Indian Food!"
However I'm glad to say we now have a loyal following including many asian clients.

On November 15th 2011 We launched our 'Youtube channel with the aim of showing other
'Curry Fanatics' how to cook the food they love.  I did this, because in my quest to 'crack the code'
I found it so hard getting accurate information about how exactly to replicate Indian Restaurant Cuisine.

On the 4th of April I published my first Ebook with the purpose of revealing many of the secrets
and recipes of the British Indian restaurant and takeaway. This book will be followed by two other books.

I am also  putting together British Indian Restaurant Curry Masterclasses for both beginners
and curry aficionado alike!

I have always been passionate about food and cooking,  but Bristish Indian Restaurant style Curry,
as far as I am concerned is and will always be, the best  because what other cuisine has such
a variety of, tastes, colours, aromas and ingredients as 'Curry Cuisine'!

""Having spent the past 20 years on a mission to unlock the Indian Restaurant Kitchen's Secrets
and having succeeded in opening our own Takeaway, I'm happy to share some of those
secrets with others.."
